Scarfing Jig for Aircraft Plywood Built

Ply spacers are put under the back rail, outside of the T bolt hold downs, cut from ply the thickness to be scarfed. The ply to be scarfed is also positioned under the front rail and the front rail is clamped holding the ply down under the rail and also the scarfing jig to the table.

I finally had an opportunity to spend the time needed to build a scarfing jig for my spar plywood. I used a jig shown on Jodel.com as an inspiration. The trim router with a 1/4" birch ply base worked quite well on my initial trial.
