Drawing the plan detail for the original Chilton Carden Ford prototype tail.

The Chilton DW-1 tail dimensions are done and the structure still needs to be drawn.

The day I sat in the Chilton in September 2012 I traced the tail and rudder to draw it up for building. No drawing of this prototype, Carden Ford version exists. Today I finally spent some time in the workshop doing the plan details that will allow me to start building again. It has been two years, a move from one end of the east coast to another, a new employer, and a jet type rating later. It was too windy to fly the Culver Cadet today and I'm reminded how much I enjoy building the Chilton.
